Middle Earth has a new batch of baby chicks! They are a variety of colors and sizes, but they're from our own Stock. We are excited to see how many hens and roosters we get out of the bunch.

A new pond has been created by the Greenhouse Project. In the process of getting top soil to level out the greenhouse site a new pond has materialized as part of the Middle Earth world. Progress will be made to create the 3rd man-made pond at Middle Earth.

Middle Earth now has its own battery powered vehicle. The Zap Truck goes about 35mph and saves on travel around town!

The Greenhouse Project has begun! The grant has been approved. Volunteers are needed.

The gardens have finally been cleaned out at the terracing is setup nicely for the first planting of the new year.

The ducks have definitely become a great part of the atmosphere at Middle Earth...along with the many birds that visit throughout the year. We were particularly pleased when the yellow finches arrived after a prolonged stay in the warm weather up North.
